A Harbinger of Bad Tidings

America has seen many convulsions in the last two years. On the International stage; the Afghanistan withdrawal, the Ukrainian War, the proposed Iran Deal, and the threatening actions of Russia and China, and on the National stage; the impacts of the Coronavirus Pandemic on Americans and our economy, to the increase in crime in our streets, to illegal immigration on our southern border, to the loss of energy independence, to the supply chain problem, to gas price increases, to inflation, to a recession, and to a host of other issues we have been convulsed by the policies of the Biden Administration.

Congress needs to not only investigate these convulsions but also needs to investigate other issues that are impacting our “American Ideals and Ideas" and our "Freedoms, Liberties, Equalities, and Equal Justice for All". These and the other issues are:

• The Impacts and Consequences of an Open Border Policy on Governmental (at all levels and across the board) Spending and Taxes, Social Services, Crime, Disease Control, Gang Membership, Drug Addiction and Drug Smuggling Cartels, Human Smuggling Cartels and Sex Slavery, and other nefarious activities, along with the future demographics of America as well as the future citizenship and voting by illegal immigrants.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic responses to the economy, elder health care, the education of our children, and the Liberties and Freedoms of all Americans. Also, the origins of the virus, the vaccine safety, and the suppression of free speech of those who disagreed with the governmental COVID-19 policies and actions at all levels of government.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of the problems of Voting In America which has led many Americans to be distrustful of the balloting process and skeptical of the election results. Also, the problems and impacts of Nefarious Election Polling on voters, and that candidate debates are not taking place or occurring after early voting starts.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of increased Crime and a lack of Punishment for criminals. From defunding or reimagining policing, police officers are being demonized, which leads to them being hesitant to fully police or to quit or retire, and many police departments are underfunded and understaffed. Many Democrat District Attorneys are releasing those arrested without cash bail or refusing to press charges, or they plea deal downward to allow for probation or light sentences for criminals. As a result, Americans feel unsafe walking the streets of our cities, which is dangerous to our body politic, in that they no longer feel the government is protecting our safety and property.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of an Unequal and Prejudicial system of Justice that persecutes and prosecutes the political opponents of the Biden Administration and the Democrat Party leadership while allowing their supporters to engage in illegal actions, resulting in The Weaponization of Government and a two-tiered system of justice in America.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of The Decline of Free Speech in America by the Social and Mainstream Media, and Academic institutions, that limits or restricts the Freedom of Speech of Americans and how these limitations and restrictions impact our Society and Elections.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of a Woke and Atrophied Military that is understaffed and ill-prepared to meet the needs and demands of modern warfare. A military that does not have the proper funding, nor have they allocated the proper apportionments and resources to the goal of winning a modern armed conflict.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of Homelessness and the issues of mental illness, addiction, crime, and disease of the homeless.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of the problems of "Public Education" on the educational quality and integrity in America that have an effect on the student's ability to think with "Rationality" and "Reasoning", as well as the "Indoctrination versus Education" of our children in Public Education. An Indoctrination that has led to confusion and psychological issues in the young minds that are unable to cope with this indoctrination. In addition, the introduction of sexually explicit content and sexual orientation instruction, the teaching of Critical Race Theory and Systemic Racism in America, the didactics of Socialistic ideas and the disparagement of Capitalism, and a general anti-Americanism that permeates the educational and pedagogical teaching in the classroom. Also, the parental rights in the education process and their rights to mold the morals and ethics of their children unconstrained and free from teacher indoctrination.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of Influence Peddling by Foreign Governments and other non-American actors on Government Foreign Policy, American Business Decisions on International investments and manufacturing, American Trade Secrets theft, and the Foreign Investments in Academia on the Freedoms and Liberties in Education and Research of Higher Education Institutions.
  
  
• The Impacts and Consequences of Bureaucratic Regulatory Capture of regulators moving to and from the employment of those that they regulate, and regulators purchasing stock of those they regulate, needs to be examined and perhaps made illegal to ensure bureaucratic regulators are independent and unbiased in their actions.
  
  
• And the true story of the January 6, 2020, “Insurrection” of the security measures to prevent or contain the ‘insurrection’, and the impacts on American society and our Constitutional Rights by the actions and subsequent actions of the Federal government in arresting and detaining of the ‘insurrectionists’. Also, the Impacts and Consequences of the utilization of Congressional Committee hearings as Kangaroo Courts for the purposes of electioneering rather than legislating corrective actions for future ‘insurrections’.

In all of these Congressional investigations, we must always keep in mind the difference between rhetoric and reality and focus on the facts and the truths of the facts, as well as keeping narcissism and vitriol out of the proceedings. The Congresspersons should also remember that the purpose of these hearings is to craft legislation to correct these problems and not to produce rhetoric for electioneering purposes.

The above points, and our current government actions on these points, are an erosion of the Liberties and Freedoms of Americans that could harbinger bad tidings for the future of America. As the Republicans have won narrow control of the House of Representatives in the 2022 mid-term elections, the new Republican-controlled House will need to investigate the many cases of abuse of "Justice and The Rule of Law in America" that President Biden and his administration have engaged in. However, these investigations must not be run as a Kangaroo Congressional Committee but as fair and equitable Congressional committee proceedings that institute "Justice and the Rule of Law in Non-Judicial Proceedings".
