Systemic Family, Education, and Faith Problems

As I mention in my Chirp, “06/10/20 The Problem is Systemic Liberalisms & Progressivisms”, the problems within America are not Systemic Racism. However, there is a systemic problem in America, a Systemic problem that impacts the Black community more than any other community. This problem is the Systemic Family, Education, and Faith Problems. The decline of the two-parent family, the failure of public education, and the loss of faith in God and the American Ideals have contributed to the decline of America much more than any “Systemic Racism” has. The combination of all three problems is the main cause of the problems in America.

Family

To be a man or be a woman is not done by creating a baby. It is done by creating a family, in which babies are raised to become children, then responsible adults. Therefore, do not have babies until you are ready to create a family, do not have babies out of wedlock, and do not separate from your spouse unless you or your children are suffering physical or emotional abuse, neglect, or abandonment. This is also the best way to overcome or avoid slipping into poverty or dependence on others or the government for your family’s needs. A family is also critical for providing the best education for their children by encouraging their children in their education, not through threats or intimidation, but by being positive and supportive.

Once largely limited to poor women and minorities, single motherhood is now becoming the new “norm”. This prevalence is due in part to the growing trend of children born outside marriage — a societal trend that was virtually unheard of decades ago. About 4 out of 10 children were born to unwed mothers. Nearly two-thirds were born to mothers under the age of 30. Today 1 in 4 children under the age of 18 — a total of about 16.4 million — are being raised without a father. Of all single-parent families in the U.S., single mothers make up the vast majority.

Regarding boys' need for fathers, in 2008, then-Sen. Obama told an audience: "Children who grow up without a father are five times more likely to live in poverty and commit a crime; nine times more likely to drop out of schools; and 20 times more likely to end up in prison." All the facts of his statement are true. All children, both male and female, need a responsible father figure to understand the responsibilities of fatherhood and what it entails to become a responsible man. This systemic problem leads to more poverty than any other problem in America, as well as leading to more criminal activity in America. Consequently, this systemic problem needs to be corrected for the good of mothers, siblings, and society.

Prior to the “Great Society”, the black family was the strongest family unit in America. Since the rise of “Entitlements“ as a result of the Great Society, the incentives to marry, and stay married, have declined. The “Feminism and the Devaluation of the Male” also exacerbate these problems. Without a strong family unit and two-parent households, we have raised several generations of males that have not matured into men as the result of a lack of a mature father figure. These adult boys are responsible for many of the troubles that beset America.

More information on the extent and impact of the systemic failure of the family in America can be viewed at "The Demise of the Happy Two-Parent Home."

Education

The public-school systems in urban America are a failure. They fail to provide a good education for their students, and they fail to provide a good environment for their students, and they fail to prepare their students to become productive and contributing adults. Consequently, they also fail the parents of the students, and they fail the taxpayers who fund these schools. There are many reasons, mostly unspoken, for this failure. My Articles, “Public Education” and “Indoctrination versus Education”, examines the issues and concerns regarding Public Education in America, and the Systemic Problem of American urban Public schools.

Faith

Faith in God gives you a moral and ethical basis for the conduct of your life. Faith in American Ideals gives you hope for a better future for yourself and America. Without these faiths, American society falls apart at the seams. Alas, we have been falling apart at the seams for the last several decades. The current mob actions have demonstrated this falling apart, for you cannot engage in these mob actions if you are a believer in God, and you would not engage in these mob actions if you believed in the American ideals.

Faith in God is founded on the belief of the truth and righteousness of the “The Ten Commandments”. The current mob actions in many of our major cities are a violation of the Ten Commandments. The lack of condemnation of these mob actions by members of the clergy evidence that even many clergy who espouse God do not understand the true meaning of the Ten Commandments. These clergypersons have become more interested in “Social Justice” rather than “Gods Justice”. They have forgotten that it is not possible to have social justice without being faithful to the commandments of God. The Ten Commandments do not contain any ifs, ands, or buts, and no reservations, restrictions, or excuses. Therefore, as the mob is violating these commandments, the mob has no faith in God, and they have no moral and ethical basis for their conduct. For more of my thoughts and beliefs on religion and spirituality, I would direct you to my article on “Religiosity “.

The American ideals of “Freedoms, Liberties, Equalities, and Equal Justice for All” is a goal that we Americans have been striving for throughout our history. We have not always, and we currently have not achieved these ideals, but throughout our history have strived to meet these ideals. Much of the mob’s actions are based on an appalling lack of knowledge of American history, a lack of knowledge that is evidence of the systemic problem of Education in America. A better education in American history that reveals both the good and bad, the virtuousness and the faults, and the strengths and weaknesses of America would provide a better context and appreciation of American ideals. We could also avoid the pitfalls of history as I have elucidated in my article, “Condemned to Repeat It”.

Faith in God and Faith in the American Ideals gives us the strength to improve ourselves and our society. Without this faith, we are rudderless in a sea of storms. With this faith, we can chart a course that makes for a better person and a better America.

The problems of Systemic Family, Education, and Faith are the problems that we need to correct to achieve a better America. It will also allow us to solve our problems peacefully as we strive to achieve the Ideals of America as expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.
